Island

I didn’t think IF would be possible this week, as I’m interstate. This isn’t my drawing, it’s one my grandma did when she was 14, in 1934. So I’m not sure it counts for IF! I’m staying at my Grandpa’s place and we searched for Granny’s old paintings and spent ages looking at her old drawings and photos. I scanned many in an attempt to preserve them.
Each image is like a little island, a little window into what she was like.

Wow. I love thinking that someday my grandkids will be wanting to preserve all my drawings. Love her photo too.
