A spring wedding… Autumnal fields fade in the background.

This is an oil painting I did about a week ago after friends suggested I do a set of illustrations for tarot cards. Normally tarot cards show the full bodies of their subjects, but I prefer portait painting so I’m going to keep them close up. this is actually the “Empress” -well, she is about to become Empress, anyway!
