I finally submitted my application to the Aust. Society of Author’s mentorship program. It was in the picture book illustrator’s category, so not much writing (although that was hard too) but a lot of sorting out drawings etc. Anyway, fingers are crossed! To be frank I’m just glad I handed it in. It was causing some undue stress! See pic for a sample of the simple watercolour style I went for.

Drawing on a Sunday is so nice that it doesn’t really matter what the end product looks like (…right?).

That said, anything posted here was not drawn today.
