Great character! That is one determined and prepared adventure girl. Does the trusty beast get to go on the adventure, or is he just following her to the front door?

I suspect she is heading to the forest wilds (in the corner of her backyard), to do a little getting back to nature. She will spend the night with the nearby beasts (2 squirrels, one rabbit, one neighbor cat),without another soul for company (except when her mom brings out a sandwich and thermos of chocolate milk). She will be a rugged survivalist for the night! (Although there is already a very sturdy tent set up in the corner of the yard, and she brought a cell phone for emergencies, and will almost certainly use the bathroom inside the house at least once.)

(Alternatively, she is a young but real pixie girl, traveling across the forest to a friend's tree in a distant village, to help her pass a magical rite of passage.)
