Jo's Mo Show
Drawing up this set of 24 interchangeable moustaches and beards and an unsuspecting face for them to grace was a seriously fun project.
I digitally emulated an old school etching style for the mo man, who accompanies the "Jo's Mo Show (with beards)" exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. He acts as a helpful guide for visitors wishing to educate themselves in the changing fashions of facial hair since the 1780s.
The full set of my images, as well as all the portraits in the exhibition and some really interesting beardy history, as WELL as a huge flickr photo set of Canberra's hairy men, are all ready for you at the Jo's Mo Show exhibition site. Seriously, what more could you want?!
