Voss tour poster

For this poster I had some loose guidelines to go by, along the lines of: "Colour, limited palette. Perhaps sort of like the Vertigo poster cut-out type thing. A little bit classic, maybe spacey. Art Deco even".
I collaborated with the band quite a bit to get the text just how they wanted.

This was a good opportunity to both show my love for old European posters and to let go of drawing lines for a change.

I'm also doing the tour merchandise artwork and sleeve for a live VOSS CD, stay tuned!

This is cool! If I was a band and this was my poster, I would be worried I wouldn't live up to how cool my poster was :P Maybe thats only because my imaginary band is crap. Anyway! Its cool nevertheless!
