I didn't think IF would be possible this week, as I'm interstate. This isn't my drawing, it's one my grandma did when she was 14, in 1934. So I'm not sure it counts for IF! I'm staying at my Grandpa's place and we searched for Granny's old paintings and spent ages looking at her old drawings and photos. I scanned many in an attempt to preserve them.
Each image is like a little island, a little window into what she was like.

I remember looking at the sketches whenI was little and thinking how amazing the ones were with all the pencil cross hatching and how beautiful or handsome the movie stars were. I was also sad because Mum told me when they moved house once she lost lots of her art work when some-one threw it out before she got back to collect it.I wish we had some way of preserving them, what are your ideas on that ?? I love all your work and marvel at how clever and talented you are!!! I'm positive it runs in the family. (PS just had a text from your Dad all is well )
